Join us on Del Norte Pier for our next plankton volunteer event! Learn how to tow plankton nets and how we collect samples for the Plankton Monitoring Program. The program is a part of NOAA’s Plankton Monitoring Network which works to track and alert for Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) while also learning about the microscopic world that plays a big role in our food web and the air we breathe.
