The Northcoast Environmental Center continues to stay engaged with the County over its cannabis ordinances to ensure reasonable enforcement efforts are included with the permitted expansions. The NEC has weighed in on both Humboldt and Trinity county cannabis regulations and enforcement and has submitted written comments for the CEQA process for both counties, looking for stricter enforcement to curb environmental abuses. The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote on the Commercial Cannabis Land Use Ordinance on May 8th.
