Internships and Volunteer Positions
Throughout the year, there are a variety of opportunities to volunteer with the NEC to help us continue our important work for our forests, coasts, rivers, and communities. For 45 years, the NEC has relied on the energy and commitment of our volunteers to achieve goals that would not be possible without your help!
You, too, can contribute to these goals with the gift of your time. Tasks range from small yet helpful tasks, such as delivery of EcoNews, to those that require special skills or a longer-term commitment, like website upgrading.

Graphic Design - Create a variety of visual digital graphics for use on our website and social media, and print materials for tabling and educational purposes. Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign required. Interpretive skills are a plus!
Office Assistance and Event Planning
Outreach/Volunteer Coordinator - Help us herd our cats! Well, we don't really have cats, but we could use some help coordinating volunteers and spreading the word about our events.
