(Re)Debris: A Marine Debris Educational Sculpture

Inspired by Bandon, Oregon’s Washed Ashore project and sponsored by the Coastal Commission, the NEC and SCRAP Humboldt present (Re)Debris—a marine debris educational sculpture.

This sculpture will be built utilizing trash gathered from beach cleanups and will take the form of a local creature affected by the harms of plastics and other pollution in our oceans. The creature will be announced at the first community building workshop on Tuesday, July 8.

Be a part of the art and help bring this creature to life!
