California Native Plant Society, North Coast Chapter
Spring 2020 Native Plant Sale
Saturday, June 13 & Sunday, June 14
Location: Freshwater Farms Reserve, 5851 Myrtle Ave., Eureka.
During these different times, the North Coast Chapter, California Native Plant Society (CNPS) will be holding, by appointment only, a plant sale at their volunteer run nursery on Saturday June 13th and Sunday June 14th. The CNPS nursery is located at Freshwater Farms Reserve (5851 Myrtle Ave., Eureka), a North Coast Regional Land Trust property. Per their county COVID-19 retail permit, they will be limiting attendance to 10 individuals per hour.
Visit their website to find all of the needed information, including a link to sign up for a time to come to their nursery to purchase plants as well as a list of all plants offered for sale by plant type with links to information about each plant variety.
In addition to the plants that CNPS has grown and will provide, five local native plant growers (Samara Restoration, Mattole Restoration Council, Beresford’s Bulbs, Lost Foods and Brant Landscaping) will be providing additional plant varieties.
Due to limited on-site conductivity, checks or cash are the preferred method of payment. Credit cards will be accepted.
Please bring your own box to transport your plants home.
CNPS will be adhering to the guidelines of the County Health Department, as per their retail operations permit. Those attending the plant sale must do so as well. This is different for all of us; CNPS appreciates your patience and understanding.
