Mindful☼Mondays: Moving Forward With Grief

Good morning. Another week has passed in this wildly strange and unpredictable time. As we hover around the 1 year mark of this pandemic, many of us are reminded of how intense anniversaries can be – in both personal and collective suffering and grief. Life has continued to go on; maybe we are on a more regular work schedule, perhaps we’ve adjusted to classes being online, perhaps you’ve already had the privilege of being vaccinated – somehow we’ve found a routine in it all. And still too, many of our community members continue to deal with far more overwhelming pressures that this pandemic has dealt.

We know it is not “over”, and like many other forms of grief it is important to acknowledge that rather than “move on” from these experiences, much more clarity and closeness comes to us when we choose to move forward WITH our grief.

Today we’re asking you to take just a moment to reflect on where you were last March and where you are now. What has changed? What has stayed the same? Who and what has supported you? What are you looking forward to?
