Mindful Monday: Climate Awakening

For those of you who have joined our conversations at Thrive: Eco Grief and Anxiety Circle, you know how valuable and important it is to find community around the heavy emotions associated with climate collapse and the social and environmental injustices we see in the world.

This week we’re providing a resource to create more community and more wide-spread connection around these topics. Climate Awakening was founded to create spaces for folks to join group conversations about fear, grief, rage, and other heavy emotions regarding climate.

Join online, curated, small group conversations around these topics with folks from around the globe – on your own time, at your own pace.

Climate Awakening aligns with our mission through Thrive. From their website on why we need “whole-self activism”: “The climate emergency is more than a “science” issue. It is an everything and everyone issue. And we need to approach it with everything we’ve got. Our emotions give us fuel for the fight for a safe, livable, and just climate.”
