Washed-up Moorling Line Removed!

NEC Coastal Programs takes a village. Many times, large projects are tackled by multiple groups. The mooring line that you see here was removed from the beach thanks to the efforts of several volunteers. One of our dedicated Adopt-A-Beach volunteers, Robin Hamlin reported the debris to the NEC with location and photos. Then the NEC’s Coastal Programs Coordinator Casey Cruikshank went out with Bryon Duty that same day to get it out of the high tide line. In the following days another Adopt-A-Beach volunteer, Kim Tays, headed out with Stan Binnie to finish up the removal.
We are so grateful for our Coastal Programs Volunteers and their tireless work in marine debris removal.
