Become a Sustaining Member!
Would you like your membership to make a significant, long-term impact? If so consider becoming a Sustaining Member and donate by way of a monthly donation. Your reliable monthly support ensures the Northcoast Environmental Center has needed resources to continue educating and protecting Northwest California’s wild places and wildlife. Plus, Sustaining Members are automatically considered members. There are three ways to become a Sustaining Member and if at any time you’d like to change your monthly amount, just contact us. Monthly giving is also one of the greenest options for giving! You’ll save paper and avoid receiving membership renewals in the mail.

The Northcoast Environmental Center brings local environmental groups together, unifying our efforts to protect and maintain our wild lands, watersheds, and quality of life within the community. We make this possible by:

Educating the community through the publication of EcoNews, radio shows on KHSU and KHUM, co-hosting Ocean Night, presenting our watershed model, and more;

Advocacy work through drafting and commenting on legislation, working with state and local representatives, keeping you up to date on representatives positions and actions, and more;

Direct action by coordinating our Adopt-a-Beach and Adopt-a-Block coastal programs and Coastal Cleanup Day;

Outreach and community involvement by providing internships, volunteer opportunities, and hosting monthly events;
- Celebrating our unique community through the All Species Parade, Birdathon, Endangered Art Show and volunteer appreciation events;
